still a little intimidating. But Google Home Mini is different; it’s a cute friendly sidekick with Google smarts built in. It even resembles a donut – 10 billion of which are eaten by Americans every year. So to celebrate the launch, we did the obvious, and yet most surprising thing: created a real-life donut shop and toured it across the country.

People discovered our touring Donut Shop via social, influencer and media promotions. Once inside the experience they were served with a ‘menu’ of queries in different categories that showed off some of the superpowers of our new device. They stepped up and asked their chosen query to receive a matching box - inside of which was either two delicious donuts or a brand-new Google Home Mini.
